

About Ghazal Nicole Mehrani
Ghazal is the founder of Law Offices of Mehrani (PLLC), a boutique immigration law firm that handles all aspects of immigration law. Ghazal's passion for immigration law derives from her personal experience as an immigrant which has made her to be naturally sensitive to the issues that immigrants face.
Ghazal received her Bachelor's in Law & Political Science from University of Tehran in 2005, her Master’s in Criminal Justice from University of Central Florida in 2010, and her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2015.
During her time in law school, Ghazal mainly focused on immigration and family law particularly women and children’s legal rights. She worked at MSU LAW Immigration Clinic as well as Chance at Childhood clinic where she obtained hands on experience in advocating for immigrants and families.
In addition to her expertise with employment based Green Card, Ghazal is well known among her clients as a family advocate! She has helped many clients with their marriage-based Green Cards, family immigration sponsorship, LGBT issues, waivers and immigration court representation.
Ghazal has also developed a reputation among student and scholars across the US for developing creative strategies to overcome international students’ issues including but not limited to SEVIS, OPT/CPT, and 212e Waiver.
Ghazal speaks Farsi and is active in the local Iranian community. She is familiar with the challenges that Iranians (specifically) face in the U.S. immigration maze. If you have served at IRGC, or need a 212(e) waiver because you do not desire to return to Iran, Ghazal is the right person to contact!
In addition to being an Attorney, Ghazal is the mother to a fun-loving young adult and a dog. Outside the office, she enjoys beaches, baking, traveling, cars and attending her daughter’s dance recitals. She also volunteers her time to the local humane society whenever possible.
